The 7th UNECE International Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Forum will address a number of current
and emerging challenges and opportunities at global, national and city levels, focusing principally on
the important nexus of green and digital transformations in PPP and infrastructure projects that
contribute to the SDGs. The Forum will also highlight how a number of the ongoing global challenges
can be addressed through PPPs for the SDGs in areas such as: sustainable PPPs for post-war and
disaster reconstruction and economic recovery; transition to a circular economy; green PPP
procurement; and women’s empowerment.
The 3-day hybrid event – with in-person and online participation – will be held in Athens, Greece,
from 3 to 5 May 2023 and is organised in coordination with the Municipality of Athens, and with the
support of the Government of Greece.
